What Dotco is
Dotco is a free life-simulation game that runs inside Discord. It is an independent project and is not made, endorsed or supported by Discord Inc.
You also have to follow Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines while you play.
- 2
Virtual money and items
All money, bank balances, businesses, shares, property, items and collectibles in Dotco are virtual. They have no real-world value, are not real money, securities, bank accounts or property, and cannot be exchanged for real money.
Do not buy, sell or trade Dotco money or items for real money or anything outside the game.
- 3
Playing fair
Don’t use bots, scripts, macros or extra accounts to play. Don’t exploit bugs; report them on the support server instead.
Don’t use Dotco to harass people, and don’t give businesses or anything else offensive names.
- 4
Server managers
If you add Dotco to a server, you are responsible for how it is set up there, including which channels it uses, the market tax and announcements. Server settings never change any player’s profile or money.
- 5
Changes to the game
Dotco is still growing. Prices, payouts, features and balance can change at any time, and progress may sometimes be adjusted to fix bugs or keep the economy fair.
Dotco is currently free. If paid extras are added later, they will come with their own terms first.
- 6
Suspension
Players or servers that break these terms can lose progress or be blocked from using Dotco.
- 7
No guarantees
Dotco is provided as it is. It may be offline, slow or have bugs, and we are not liable for lost progress or any loss caused by using it, as far as the law allows.
- 8
Updates to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to play means you accept the changes.
